Does the system work if the internet goes down?

Yes. Reliability is a core feature of Proptia’s architecture. The hardware controllers installed at your site have ‘local caching’ capabilities. This means that even if the internet connection is temporarily lost due to a storm or outage, the system ‘remembers’ authorized credentials (such as fobs, pin codes, or license plates) and will continue to grant access to authorized users. Once connectivity is restored, all access data automatically syncs back to the cloud.
